제4세션 : 한중일 국학의 개념 및 역사적 경험

국학과 한국학은 연구 대상이 같으며 영문으로 표기하면 Korean Studies로 같지만, 연구 목적과 방법 및 태도 등에서 다른 점이 적지 않다. 한국국학진흥원은 지난해에 이어 21세기 국학 연구의 방향성 정립을 위해 지속적으로 노력하고 있다. 본 세션(분과)에서는 한·중·일 삼국이 역사적으로 걸어온 국학 연구의 길을 비교의 관점에서 집중적으로 토론해 보고자 한다.

Session 4: Concept and historical experience of Korean-Chinese-Japanese studies

Although Gukhak and Korean Studies have the same subject matter and are often referred to as Korean Studies in English, there are many differences in research objectives, methods, and attitudes. The Korea Studies Institute is continuing its efforts to establish the direction of Korean studies in the 21st century. In this session, it focuses on the historical paths of Gukhak in Korea, China, and Japan from a comparative perspective.
