중국 강서성의 남창대학(南昌大學)과 한국의 전통 서원인 도산서원과 백록동서원(白鹿洞書院: 강서성에 소재한 최초의 서원) 간의 전통 서원에서 찾는 인문가치를 모색하고자 한다. 한국과 중국 양국의 전통 인문활동(교육)을 통해 인문적 가치를 재조명하고, 서로의 문화와 역사 속에서 인문정신을 이해하는 기회를 마련할 것이다. 이를 통해 인간다움과 사회적 관계의 회복을 위한 기반을 다지고, 전통 서원의 의미와 역할을 현대적 관점에서 탐구할 수 있는 소중한 장이 될 것이다.

This session aims to explore the humanistic values found in traditional Seowons through Nanchang University(南昌大學) in Jiangsu Province, China, and Dosan Seowon of Korea and  Bailudong-Shuyuan(白鹿洞書院) of China. Through traditional humanistic activities of South Korea and China, it reexamines their humanistic values and provides opportunities to understand the humanistic spirit in each culture and history. Moreover, the foundation for the restoration of humanity and social relationships will be laid, and a valuable venue will be provided to explore the meaning and role of traditional Seowons from a contemporary perspective.
