주 제 : 문화다양성, 이야기로 풀다 – 사회혁신을 위한 토대 마련을 위하여

내 용 :
문화다양성은 복수의 문화가 조화와 갈등의 길항 속에 위치함을 전제하기에 정치학적이다. 이 세션에서는 ‘이야기’를 매개로 하여 문화다양성이라는 정치학적 과제를 풀어내고자 한다. 이야기가 단순한 유희적 산물이 아니라 서사를 통해 구축된 강력한 지식 체계라는 점을 인정한다면, 이야기는 문화다양성이 야기하는 여러 문제를 풀어내는 하나의 열쇠가 될 수 있다. 신화, 전설, 민담 등의 이야기 텍스트, 거기에서 더 나아가 이야기가 향유되는 공동체의 서사에 주목한다면, 여기에서 문화와 문화의 접변, 그 접변으로 인해 발생하는 문화 간 습합과 배제, 통합의 방식을 이해할 수 있다.

Theme: Interpreting Cultural Diversity Through Storytelling: Establishing the Foundation of Social Innovation

Cultural diversity has the political characteristic that it is positioned at the juncture where a number of cultures are both in harmony and conflict. This session is designed to solve the political task called ‘cultural diversity’ with the medium called ‘story’. Once you understand that stories are not only simple playful output, but a powerful knowledge system established through narratives, you can find the key to solve multiple problems caused by cultural diversity. If you pay attention to texts such as myths, legends, and folktales, as well as the narratives of the community where stories are shared and appreciated, you will understand acculturation, compromise, and exclusion between cultures caused by ways of integration.
